ABOUT

I learnt many of my technical and artistic skills, particularly film making, at the New York Film Academy's 'Total Immersion Intensive Workshop’. I went on to study at the University of Westminster in London where I gained a BA (Hons) in Animation. My short animated film ‘Disharmonious Coincidence’ was selected by the British Council (Film & Literature) to be included in the 2006 edition of the British Films Catalogue and was subsequently screened at several film festivals. I also studied DTP at Jensens Bureau in Denmark.
I am the owner and gallery director of the Star Brewery Gallery in Lewes. I have built the gallery website and created all the promotional material for the gallery and many of the exhibitions. www.starbrewerygallery.com
I also have a career as an artist and my work has been exhibited in galleries in the UK and Denmark. I have developed a range of fashion accessories and household items featuring my artwork and designs. To view my artwork visit: www.neetapedersen.co.uk
Having travelled widely in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and America, I have studied many different cultures that have enriched and influenced my work.
TESTIMONIALS
'When we started thinking about which artist to ask to design a Valentine's cover, with a dark twist, for our February 2016 issue, we didn't need to think very far, because we knew Neeta's work very well. She looked the right fit. And so we put her to work, and so she produced us a marvellous cover, in her inimitable style, which completely fitted the bill. It was much loved and much commented upon: I think people are still talking about it nearly a year later...'

'Working with Neeta was a joy. She produced a highly entertaining short promotional video for The Chap, which has proved an extremely useful marketing tool.
Neeta also worked closely with us to produce a very specific second video, working from existing footage to produce a video that proved an invaluable resource in a round of fundraising we did via crowdfunding. Neeta is very quick to understand a brief and produce exactly what is required by the client.'
